The Circle C Cover Kids

A couple of years ago, Mrs. M interviewed the children who modeled for the Circle C Stepping Stones. There were four in all, but only three agreed to the interview. Kevan declined.

  • Julie (age 9 at the time of most of the covers) portrays Andi Carter.
  • Ellie (age 11) is Sadie Hollister
  • Christian (age 7) is Henry Jackson from Big Top.
  • Kevan (age 13) portrays Cory (age 10). Kevan looked young so it worked out. We kept them sitting so the difference in height would not be so apparent.

In this short, five-minute interview in 2020, Ellie is 15, Julie 13, Christian 11. You can do the math to figure how old they are now. Enjoy! If you have questions, ask them in the comments and I’ll see if I can get the kids to go to this post and answer them.

Note: the last scene shows “Enter to Win One of These Books.” However, that is a leftover from 2020, when I ran a contest on a FB group. That is not valid for this post.

I'm the author of the Circle C and Goldtown Adventures series. I blog as "Andi Carter," the main character in the Circle C series. She lives on a huge cattle ranch in 1880s California. These are her adventures.

      1. Except I don’t think Ellie is on much cuz their internet time this summer is close to zero! She might get an Angus steer and do 4H. I hope so. Cuz then I’m going to grab Julie and dress her up to be with Mitchell’s Angus heifers! Maybe I’ll write a story. Julie is almost the same age as Andi in Courageous Love now so I’ll try. But she does not like livestock. Not even horses! Lol!

We’ve kept in touch a bit during the school year. I got her to join my all-girls writing group. πŸ™‚

    1. Sorry for the late reply. I just saw this question. I can’t remember if I paid her or not. I think I did, because I paid Evan (Levi in Family Secret) to model for that cover. I never paid Ryan (Cory) on Trouble with Treasure. Instead, I let him grow his hair out that summer so he would look like Cory a little more (Ryan is my youngest son).
