“The Best Gift of All”

Andi is six years old and just learning to read, write, and do sums. She’s in the first grade during Andi’s Scary School Days, and while she doesn’t much like school, she has learned to accept it. Now, it’s October and Mother’s birthday is coming up fast. Andi wants to buy her mother a special gift, but that’s hard to do if you only have one dime and two pennies.
