Favorite School Subject

As you probably know, I (Andi Carter) do not care much for going to school. I’d rather be out riding Taffy on the Circle C’s thousands of acres or (after I’m married) never have to think of school again. However, when asked what my favorite school subject is, I have to say . . . arithmetic and higher math. Arithmetic is mighty handy when Chad takes me to a livestock auction. I can add up everything he’s bid on faster than he can. And once Riley and I were married, boy howdy! I can figure sums faster than he can too. I do like numbers.

What is your favorite school subject (past, if you’re a grownup) or present (if you are a student this year). Leave a comment to share you favorite subject and why it is your favorite.

  1. I love reading in general, but math was a more-favorite subject in school because the answers were clearly defined – no subjective responses and interpretations necessary!

  2. My favorite school subject is and always has been science, with an emphasis on the human body. I love learning about how all the systems work together; we truly are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:13-14).

  3. My favorite school subject is English because I love to read and write. However, I also love American History and often incorporate it into my stories.

  4. I think this really depended on the teacher I had. 😁 I loved history, English, and gym as long as we weren’t swimming! πŸ˜…

  5. My favorite school subject is a cross between literature and history. I love learning about all of the characters in history, and I especially love seeing all of the different politics that have affected our country through the years. I am also a lover of books, and enjoy the exposure to all the different genres when I read assigned books for lit.

  6. I LOVE reading, writing and history! (And does music count as a subject?) I just graduated but that does not mean I’m stopping those subjects!
