17. BONUS. Which is YOUR favorite Bible character and why?

I really enjoyed reading the answers to your favorite characters. Here they are for all to enjoy (those that included them, anyway).

  1. Lelah:  My favorite bible character is Esther because she had to have a huge amount of courage to stand up to the king
  2. Dinah:  My favorite Bible character is Leah because even though Jacob loved Rachel more, Leah had faith in God and it was enough for her that she was loved by Him.
  3. Lyla: One of my favorite Bible characters is Ruth because she was willing to fallow Naomi anywhere and leave all her family and friends. This is what we should do with God. Follow Him no matter what.
  4. Sara m.: Daniel. Imagine facing furious lions & not fearing them, Daniel didn’t. He had Yahweh on his side and I find that amazing. πŸ™‚
  5. Audrey:
  6. My favorite Bible character is probably Esther (like Melinda lol!) because it shows that God uses women as well as men for his glory.
  7. Naomi: My favorite character is Daniel, because he trusted the Lord even though he was warned he would be killed if he kept standing for his faith.
  8. Ruth: My favorite Bible character is Joseph, because he is one of the only Biblical characters whose sins and wrong doings were not recorded in the Bible. Joseph was the kind of man that even his enemies lifted him up and praised him.
  9. Jalaena:
  10.  Other than Jesus, my favorite Bible character would have to be Esther she’s my favorite, because of how courageous she was it inspires me how much she trusted God to protect her and keep her safe even if that meant dying, she knew that God was always with her and that’s why she’s my favorite Bible character
  11. Emma M.: I would have to agree with Melinda! Esther was sooooooo brave, Plus our Church is doing a Sunday school study on her at present!
  12. Emma A.; My favorite Bible character (besides Jesus of course) would be either Esther or Paul.
  13. Sage; While I struggle to come up with an overall favorite Bible character (besides the obvious answer of Jesus), I think one of the characters I look up to the most is Ruth. Loyalty in friendship is something I hold dear, especially after dealing with some disloyal friends, and Ruth’s example of putting Naomi’s needs and well-being over her own is something I strive to do. It’s so hard to move, even in this age of technology which allows us to communicate over long distances. But even when Naomi pushed Ruth to go home, Ruth made the difficult decision to leave everything she had ever known to go to Naomi’s home, to provide for her mother-in-law even though she had no clue how to do so. She was loyal to Naomi, and I strive to be loyal to my friends and put their needs before my own, just as she did.
  14. Tori S. Probably (other than Jesus of course) either Ester (I hope that’s how you spell it) or Ruth. I love hope Ruth went with Niomi ever though she knew that her life would be more difficult that way. She could have stayed with her parents and remarried, but she went with a poor, old widow. Niomi nagged at her to go home but she stayed. I also love Ester because she obeyed her cousin and I love what she said, “If I perish, I perish.”
  15. Luca B. Daniel because he was brave and prayed to God not the king. And I like lions!
