Congratulations, Ellianna (not my granddaughter Ellie!) but the Ellie with the “intfrog” email address. Thanks for playing, everybody! I received 112 entries, of which 95 had the correct answer.

I could not accept “fool’s gold” or “pyrite” because that mineral looks distinctly different from true gold, even up close. I used random.org to find a winner, and it chose #57, Ellianna. Email me ASAP so I can mail your prize. Check back next month for September’s What Am I? contest.

It’s time for that ever-enjoyable guessing game, What Am I? Don’t make this month’s photo hard, friends! Fill in the Google Form with your answer. This is proving to be a very popular game (87 and 80 entries the past two months). Hints? I’m afraid not this month. It would give it away.

Stickers and suckers are both “sticky.” A magnet “sticks” to metal. And I threw in a Long Ride Home keychain, which is neither sweet nor sticky.

  4. Me and my sister love these! I might have accidentally entered twice, but it would be under the same name, so should be easy to spot if I did.
