Just a quick reminder. The fall 2023 writing contest ends Thursday, October 12, at 5pm Pacific Time. That is today. As soon as possible after the contest closes, I will send off your entries to my two judges (one for each age group). I have also looked over each one of your stories, so if the judges have trouble coming up with a winner from each category, I am available to give them input. My goal is to announce the winners on Monday, October 16, but if it takes the judges longer to come up with their choices, then winners will be posted later in the week. The day after the winners are posted, I hope to have the rest of the entries uploaded to the contest entries fan fiction site.
Update…. I can see already that I’m getting too many entries to be able to announce the winner by next Monday….. so the winners will be announced Monday, October 23 instead. My judges need more time to read all the entries.
