Winners Announcement Delayed

Due to the large number of entries (comparable to some of the annual contests!), the judges need more time to work through the entries. The Fall Contest Winners will be announced next Monday, October 23, instead. I really needed to give them more than one weekend. This is much more of a response to a seasonal contest than ever before.

The next day, Tuesday, I will start posting the entries, of which there are a great many! I have also decided that in addition to the two prize-winning “winners,” I will announce two runners up for each age group.

In the meantime, I have to cut back in posting because since the second week of September, I have been overwhelmed with family responsibilities. Running the ranch for my DD for two weeks, then coming home, taking my hubby to the airport to fly to Arkansas in order to help my baby sister move “home” to WA for a new job. Then driving another 4 hours the next weekend to meet all of them in Spokane, helping her unpack, then immediately turning around and going to my elderly mother’s for 10 days, to help my other sister move her into assisted living, and then . . . I’ll go home next Sunday, take a few days to pack up all of my books, and head for CA to help the Painted Acres Ranch move to Texas. That will take until the week before Thanksgiving (helping them set up).

So, you can see that I may have a few foal videos,or if something interesting comes my way, but I will not be able to post on a regular basis until life slows down! Family first! (Well, family second after Christ.)

P.S. I hope I don’t have to, but I might have shut down (or limit) my Circle C s tore during the move and afterward. And rats! After I put up those cool calendars too. Why? Because it’s hard to ship orders if I’m in CA packing, and all of my stuff is sitting in the back of my hubby’s truck in Texas. So, if there’s anything anybody wants to make sure they get, now is the time to grab them…. before I leave at the end of October.
