I received 229 contestants. Including all the bonus entries, I received 2,175 entries! John replied already and said his daughter will be excited. I was going to announce this on Monday (after Resurrection Day), but I thought I’d put out a “look for it” head’s up. Why? Read on . . .

If you entered the giveaway, watch for an email on Monday. Yes, it announces the winner. But more importantly, for those of you who still want to buy copies of the new books, I will have a coupon code in the email as a consolation “prize” to those who did not win. 15% off on any Goldtown product (including books 5-6). It’s a pretty good deal, especially if you buy more than $25 worth, since then you will also get free shipping.

Note: When I added the 229 entries to my subscriber list, six showed up on the list as having “unsubscribed” from the newsletter sometime in the past. So, those six contacts will not receive an email with the cool discount (even though they entered the contest). Why not?

My email hosting program does not allow any emails to be sent to folks who have unsubscribed from either the Circle C or Goldtown list. (The newsletter is completely different and separate from the “followers” here on Andi’s blog, BTW.)

It was a fun contest, but honestly, two week contests are a bit dragging for me. I prefer one-week contests. But my publisher set the dates, and that was fine with me.
