The original cover of the fan fun extra book, Andrea Carter and the Terrible Secret, just never looked like I envisioned Justin. But now . . . I have created a much better Justin. What do you think? He’s not 100% the way I envision him, but he’s better than what I had before! I don’t sell the Fan Fun Extras on my Circle C store any longer, but never fear.   3. kinda of good! now he looks a bit young for an almost 30 year old back in the 1800s and Andi still looks WAY too old for a thirteen year old:)

    1. Well, ya can’t please all of the folks all of the time, I guess. And you should have seen my graduating senior son, Ryan (Cory on Trouble with Treasure). He looked about 14. LOL And he still looks young at age 32. LOL

      My 15 year old daughter looked about 12, and later when she was pregnant with her first baby she was SO AFRAID someone might think she was a young, unwed mother. Which is not very much fun when you are young (to look even younger), but believe me, now that I’m much older, I’m glad I always looked young (and Kristel will be happier to look young when she is old too).

      I’ve been to so, so many homeschool conventions, where fans come up to see me. More than once I thought a young lady was sixteen or even seventeen, and whoops! They were only 13 or 14! *my bad*

      It’s a big world, and there is not ONE STANDARD “look” of age that fits all.

    2. haha! Yes! you’re right I suppose! I guess i got the genetic trait from both my parents. When my mom had me, she still looked like she was 19…

      and I still look 12 even tho im 16! and so do all my siblings look young!

      now that you say it from that view, I guess I’m glad I look young:D

      And YES, Mrs. M, you look very young!

  11. I don’t know…it does look more like Justin, I guess, but I do feel like he looks too young for 30+ or however old he’s supposed to be. Also, he looks very happy and cheerful and considering the more sober theme of the book, I think the more serious expression on the first cover looks better. Also, Justin fits very well into the background of the new cover, and almost makes Andi stand out and look superimposed onto the cover. It wasn’t as obvious in the first cover, in my opinion. But, of course, these are ALL just my opinions!😊

    1. Oh, well. LOL I like this one better, and the other one looked too fat. LOL IT’s just a self-published book anyway. And who knows? I might experiment and change the cover yet again some other day in the future. The JOYS of self-publishing!

  12. Also, when I click the link to go to your Lulu store, it takes me there, but won’t let me switch pages-I can’t go on to the next page of products, so I can only see 3 books.

    1. That’s because I only have three Andi Carter books up there for sale. LOL My other Circle C books are with a REAL publisher.
      I have some Star Trek fan fiction on Lulu but since Star Trek is trademarked by Paramount, I sure can’t sell them!

  13. Yay! This is definitely my favorite! It looks really good! I like the new cover better. It is more of how I envisioned Justin. I think he looks the perfect age. I’m only 15 and people have thought that I’m closer to 20. Some have thought that I have kids. Just because someone looks an age doesn’t mean that they are that age. 😊
