Readers’ Choice Voting

I made the decision to put the top four of each category into a readers’ choice voting. Why? Because my two judges had a very hard time landing on a winner for each category. They gave me different stories for the winners and runners up. So, instead of me having to make the final decisions, I decided to put the decision into your hands. (This means there were a lot of good stories that were hard to decide between.)

Voting runs one week, Friday, November 22 – Friday, November 29, the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday). The winner of each category will be announced on Saturday, November 30.

The same rules apply as other Readers’ Choice Voting. No “stuffing” the ballot box by well-intended friends and relatives. Also, you will need to include your email address so I can be assured that it is one email, one vote. Yes, multiple family members may vote, but they must each have their own email address to vote. I will delete duplicate emails. That’s the way it must be, sorry! You may go to the Google Form by clicking the button, or you may link over to the different stories from the blog.

Each age category lists four stories. Read each story and then go back and vote for your favorite using the Google Form. Have fun and enjoy the stories! I will be informing the finalists after this post goes live, so they can have a link to the voting as well. Well done, young writers.

  2. We are so excited to read the stories – perfect activity for a slow holiday week next week! My daughter is super thrilled that this time, she made the list! She’s been telling friends she entered all week or 2. Many want more info about what all you do. May I send them a link to the blog to read the stories and vote their favorite if I DON’T say which one is hers? I’d love to inspire more writers. We always recommend Andi & Jem’s books to everyone and are so appreciative that these contests have gotten my girls to WANT to work on writing! The youngest can’t wait til she is old enough to enter. But I definitely don’t want to do any “stuffing”. Or would you prefer only already loyal readers do the voting and we just send friends to the fan fiction set? Thanks for all you do!Meg J
