The books are here (at my house, anyway). The official release date is not until January 28, but I have some copies (though not a lot) that I am willing to autograph and sell for $8.99. I am also throwing in a horse sticker for fun with each book. Also, for those of you who are Circle C Newsletter subscribers, you got a head start on everything (just a little perk). The newsletter went out this morning, which included a fun “peek behind the scenes” of where I got the idea to write “Orphan Calf,” the first story in this collection.

For those of you who signed up to be an “influencer,” Kregel (my publisher) should be sending your review copies soon. I have something special planned for anyone and everyone who posts a review of the book on Amazon (even if you are not an influencer), but my gift will not be ready for another month. But if you email me a copy of the review you post, I’ll put you on my “gift” list.
Anyway, if you want to read all about it and get the link to either pre-order Other Tales or buy an autographed copy from me, I suggest you read (and subscribe!) to the Circle C newsletter. Here is the link to read the newsletter that just went out.

So exciting!!!!
I received my copy (for being an influencer) last night! Going to start reading it today!!
That was fast! Looking forward to reading your Amazon review! 👏
So cool !
How can I leave a review on Amazon since I received a free copy?
I think all you have to do is write a disclaimer. “I received a free review copy of this book from Kregel Publications.”
I’m just wondering how I’ll have the option to leave a review since I didn’t actually purchase the book…it won’t show up on my account or anything.
You actually can’t leave a review until the book releases (January 28). AFter that, all you have to do is go to this link, scroll down to Reviews. And then choose “leave a review.” I can always leave reveiws for books that I haven’t even purchased (like you, I got a free one or something). So long as you have an AMAZON account, you can leave reviews for any books or product.

I did not realize I needed to put a disclaimer when I published my Amazon review. Is that going to be a problem?
Nope. Not to me. If Amazon posts it that’s great. And I’m your own blog you can do what you want!
oh, I see. Thank you!
When is the next post Mrs. M ?
I have no idea. I was creating a character quiz but then illness hit all of us plus my DD and hubby left for CA trip and I have goats, chix, horses, and ducks to tend, take kids to work and then that big storm hit…. So I didn’t know when things will slow down long enough to think about a blog post. 🤪
Hi Mrs. M! I’m new here, and I am doing your writing book this year, and I’m almost finished with the Circle C milestones series! I love your books, and your writing book! I can’t wait to maybe publish one of my own books! Thank you for inspiring me so much!
And thank you for writing! Welcome to the blog! You can write some Andi fan fiction and I’ll post it!
How would I get my Andi fan fiction to you? Email?
-Abby
Yes
Thanks, Emmy!
Say, which theme do you use on your blog? I like it.
I use Rowling but I made a lot of changes to colors and things like that. 🙂
Emmy !! Your blog is awesome !
Thank you so much!
Hey Mrs. M. I am doing writers roundup, and I was wondering if I start writing my story now, or wait until lesson 9??
You can start writing your story any time you get ideas! Then, when you come to a new skill you are learning in the writers roundup, you can go back and edit and revise what you have already written. It’s totally up to you when you feel like a story is coming on. 😉
Ok! Thank you so much! ❤️
Hey everyone!! I love writing, and I’m trying to write a story, but I’m struggling with writer’s block! 😩 Does anyone have any suggestions to overcoming writer’s block?
