Maybe! Maybe not. It all depends on whether I can get excited about writing a new series. The other day, one of my Circle C characters, Jenny Grant to be exact, invaded my mental life (thanks to an author friend) with this rampaging plea. It sounds like Jenny wants a series of her own. (Keep reading to see how you can help!)

Jenny Grant threw herself across her bunk. “Mrs. M. has time for my friend Andi at the Circle C. She has her “pet” boys (pests, I call ’em) like Jem and Nathan in Goldtown. But what about me?” She pushed back the red hair that fell over her face. “Even that half-backed cousin of mine, Jenny Bolt, got her attention back in the day in a Here Come the Brides fanfiction story. Grrr! What am I, sifted sawdust?”
Jenny thought about all the exciting things one could do in Tacoma in 1879 — her time, the best time in the world! “Why, we’re the western terminus of the Northern Pacific Railroad, for pity’s sake! We’ve got timber, lots of it. We’ve got sawmills right on Puget Sound. We’ve got a port with all kinds of shady characters running around in the shadows.”
Jenny hopped off her bed and went to the small mirror over her bureau. Making a face, she screwed up her expression into one of desperate pleading. “Just try me, Mrs. M! Write a series about me . . . and Micah and Gideon too . . . or even about my three oldest brothers. You won’t be sorry. Hey, maybe I could get involved in solving a mystery about a wrecked dinghy that washes up on the beach after a storm. Maybe there’s a mysterious chest inside or—*gasp*—an unconscious sailor. And *shiver* I know my Indian friends whisper about “sasquit,” the creature with the big feet, lurking about in that old military reservation at Point Defiance.”
Jenny cocked her head and took a deep breath. “Or maybe I could get washed away by the tide in our rowboat and end up on . . . well . . . I’ve always wanted to see Vashon Island. Or a flood or a log jam on the river. Goodness, there’s so much somebody could write about, if they’d only give me a try!’
“Just sayin’, Mrs. M. I’m worth it. You’ll see when you finally do start writing about my adventures. I’ll be there, I promise. I’ll do you proud! Please don’t let me down!”

—from Mrs. Judy Nill, who wrote this delightful little plea for Jenny to have her own series.
I actually have all six book covers created and titles to go with them. I just can’t think of the story plots! If anyone has ideas, you can use this Five Story Elements page to help brainstorm ideas for any title you please. Print it out, fill it out, and scan it . . . or simply use it as a template and write your ideas in an email to CircleCAdventures@gmail.com

By the time I write them (if I do), the girls will probably have outgrown them. *sigh*
It takes so long to write and have books published these days (unless I self publish), but I can’t do that since kregel has first rights of refusal, and it’s highly unlikely they would decline anything I wrote. LOL

Are you going to do a milestones level series at some point for Jenny?
