May What Am I? #26 Winner Update

I can always tell when the mystery item is a tough one. I get fewer entries. This month I only received 86 entries, and of those 86, only 54 guessed “MUSHROOM” correctly. Out of those, Random.org landed on Ryleigh (#44) as the winner. Ryleigh has 48 hours to claim her prize.

I have received a few entries so far, but guys! some of you seem to have problems figuring this whole submission thing out. I have received beautiful entry forms filled out correctly, but . . . the entrant forgot to actually upload/include their entry! I have emailed this person but no reponse, so although I have an entry form that does no good by itself. I need the writing piece.

Another entrant emailed me their entry, which also cannot be accepted. You must submit using the entry form accordin to the contest rules. So far, the art pieces have all been submitted correctly. Yay! Here is the Kick Off website. Only a couple weeks left! “Kick Off to Summer” Writing and Art Contest

The Prize

In case you can’t figure out the prize, it’s something new: a Circle C coaster. What is showing is the ceramic/stone top part, where you put your hot or cold drink, and the cork backing, to keep it from being non-slipping on the table surface. A coaster is great to have, especially with summer just around the corner. The second part of the prize is a 50-sheet Circle C notepad.

  1. Thanks so much, Mrs. M!! I can’t wait! This one is a little difficult. I’m gonna have to put my thinking cap on! πŸ˜‚

By the way, are you the Abigail who sent in a poem on behalf of a younger sibling for the writing contest? If so, the piece must be sent in via the entry form and not just to my email. If you are NOT the same Abigail, don’t worry about it. I have trouble keeping track of all the Abigails, LOL.

  2. I’m sorry. Am I one of the people who haven’t submitted it properely? I just got on after a while and saw your comment. My email address for my docs doesn’t go to my mailbox, but to my parents, so I didn’t see an email you sent.
