I have been remiss in posting the past couple of weeks. Instead, I’ve been working feverishly on the new Jenny book, Trouble in Tacoma. And I am beginning to completely overhaul my (main) website. My publisher, Kregel, has not gotten back to me . . . yet . . . about whether they are picking up this series. I think changes are going on over there so it might be a while. But never fear! If Kregel declines to go with this Jenny series, then I will publish it anyway, like I do the Fan Fun Extra books. And if they don’t take it, I could perhaps even have the first book ready by Christmas! (If Kregel takes it, you will have to wait a year for it.)
I’m giving you the link to my website “staging site” so you can read the first two chapters. Note the Progress Bar: I’m 61% finished with the book! NOTE: The staging site (back end of the website) has a couple of issues: 1) It’s barely started, 2) the mobile menu on a phone does not work. So if you want to see anything else, it’s limited. If you have a tablet or computer, it works great. Like I said, a few bugs need to be worked out. *sigh*
Click this link to the Timberland page. You can read what the book is about. Under that, you will find a “Read an Excerpt” link. Click it to read the first two chapters. This is an exclusive link for just my Andi fans on the blog. Later, when the website is actually working and I’ve transferred it over to the main site, I’ll send out a newsletter. By then, I will probably have heard from Kregel. Actually, that is what I am waiting for, before I move the new theme/design over. If you want to see the Home page of the new redesign, click here (then you can scroll down and click “Timberland.” But remember, if you are using a mobile phone, the hamburger menu doesn’t work. Do not ask me why. I will have to contact support sometime.

Oh thank you so much Mrs. M. This is so fun!

The home page like awesome! And thank you so much for the sneak peek I can hardly wait to read it! The illustrations are amazing! My 100% favorite drawing is the one of Jenny and Raindrop!!! I’m so excited to read it when it’s published!! Ashlynn H.

I’m so glad you like it! I’m really going to push hard to encourage my publisher to include both chapter heading illustrations (the circles) plus any illustrations for chapters (like Jenny and Raindrop. That one is so sweet!) The last two Circle C Adventures books are illustrated so I think I have a good chance of making my case.

Would that be enough time for a last adventure in San Francisco?
Then Andi could be in the last Timberline book.
