The first page (display name and join the chat) is a black box and you have black text. Just type and go anyway. I can’t figure out how to lighten it. It’s no big deal.
So have fun and let me know what you think about this in the comments. Also, *important* if you see anything that strikes you a “strange” any time, leave a comment for me. And if the chat box gets abused (i.e. other siblings writing chats that annoy us, like happened years ago when I had another chat bo), I’ll delete it.

Well I had one maybe 10 years ago and the kids loved it but it was way too much work to maintain so I found a WordPress plugin called Adam box that I installed and then I just put the short code on a page and there you go. It’s supposed to be really safe for kids cuz there’s no tracking and they don’t keep any of the chats and so on and so forth
