Trouble at the Line Shack

Finally! The printed versions of Trouble at the Line Shack came and are now available from the Circle C store for $10 each (free shipping). The expanded Long Ride Home is also available for $10. Bonus: If you buy both, you get a dollar off each book ($18).

I am working feverishly on The Terrible Secret. I have a few ideas of where the story can go after the big “disaster.” But I’m not going to give any spoilers. My goal is to have the story finished by August so I can upload it in time for fall. I’m still accepting ideas for plot twists (since I lost all of the old suggestions on the old blog). Sorry about that. I will not lose any suggestions you give here in the comments.

I'm the main character in the Circle C Adventures series. I live on a huge cattle ranch in 1880s California. These are my adventures.

  1. I’m so happy you’re still writing, Mrs M.!
Suggestion; the docter removes the bullet from Justins friend and it didnt come from the gun the ‘mudurer’ had. They search the real bad guys and find the gun that was used to kill Justins friend(actually, probably a lot of people had that same gun…). Also, Andi testifies against the bad guys. Hope this helps πŸ˜‰

  2. Glad the Terrible Secret is finally getting an ending!πŸ˜‰. It finished with such a cliffhanger that I dreamed up an ending to satisfy myself.πŸ˜„
As I recall it went something like this…
Justin, distraught and worried about Andi, directed his family to put the two of them on a train for Sacramento and fake their deaths. They would stay till the whole thing blew over but ended up on the wrong train. Justin is reinjured in a miner accident which leaves Andi to care for him and unable to contact her family. She finds Father’s old Bible in the bag Mother had packed for Justin and in reading, decides she must be present for the trial. After convincing Justin they snuck back into town. The climax was in the courtroom where the henchmen try to get them after Andi testifys, but Chad, Mitch and even Melinda, I believe, outwit them…. Told you I had to come up with something after that ending! Looking forward to reading the real book

    1. Well .. wow! I hope enough of you give me little snatches that I can sew together. I’ve been working on it, revising, updating, etc. The hard work will begin when I get to the cliff hanger what I left you all off.
