  1. Yes, Jenny posted this three days ago.
Hey everyone my name is Jenny. So I live in Florida and we are getting ready to have a really bad hurricane here. I was just wondering if you all could pray for my family and I as it will be happening tonight through tomorrow and the next day possibly. Thank youπŸ™I live in the Sarasota area( on the outskirts). As it’s looking like the eye of it will be going over us.

    1. To everyone that has been asking about me. Yes my family is all fine. Still have no power. There is really nothing new since I last posted last night. We are now just working on cleaning up our property. And cell service is spotty too. Thanks for asking and keeping us in your prayers!

    2. @Jenny….
our house got totally floaded. 😦
Which is really sad bc it was my grandmas house who passed away in 2020 and it has like all the memories of her in it but it has to be all redone 😦

      1. Haha i do live in NY, Mrs. M!
My grandma had a house in FL that we went to every year for vacation.
After she passed my aunt owns the house now and we rent it from her for about 2 weeks every year.

  2. Well since this has been disaster related I figured you guys should know that I had my first two falls today. The horse I was riding, Dun It, randomly started bucking. I fell off onto my arm. I got back on and he did the exact same thing. Long story short I sprained my arm and now am in a sling for a week. So it has been a wonderful day. I can’t even pump soap to wash my hands without wincing.

    1. Ouch…. i am sorry Carley! that is such a bummer! do you have horses??

Idk how many times i have fallen before πŸ˜‚
It’s just all apart of riding/having horses 🐴
They are the best but definatlly hurt when you fall off!
Last time i fell it was this past summer…. at a show. two weekends in a row. The first time i was in the practice ring and i didn’t get that hurt at all just the wind knocked out of me.

the next week i landed on my back. in the judging ring. it messed up my back and ribs badly. and…i got disquilfied from that event.
i dislodged a rib and my back is still messed up from 3 months ago πŸ˜‚
It was pretty embarassing considering it was my first time falling off in many years. but one of my horses that i was riding it was his first year showing and he was pretty skittish.
Luckly i was able to finish the day of showing. because i fell off in my very first event of the day

Do you ride western or english? i ride western and i game.
Any way….i know what it feels like 😒
      Hope it heals soon!!

      1. I am only 11 actually. We have always lived where there wasn’t enough space for farm animals.

    2. I’m so sorry Carley!
I know how you feel. A few years ago
I was walking our dog and she saw something and jumped forward. She pulled me onto the ground and my arm was sprained. Then I sprained it again at Awana 2 years ago. I have only ridden horses 4 times. But thank God I have not fallen off once. Prayers for your healing!😊

  3. @Carley ouch I know what it’s like to fall off a horse! It only happened once (I don’t ride that much). I was six, so I barely remember it. I was riding by myself (with other people watching) and I fell off onto a pile of horse manure😣. So…. yeah.
