Rubicon and His Foals

Rubicon’s Moonlight Motion, Dakota’s sire, has been trained to lie down and let his former owner, Megan, rest on his back. Rube is a big stallion, 16hh, but he’s as gentle as a kitten. (Kristel is his new owner). Watch this fun video with Megan showing Rube off, and then Kristel beginning the first step of teaching Dakota (Kody) to imitate his sire and eventually lie down.

Rubicon loves to run, and so does Taffy! Like Father, Like Daughter in this short video. Run, Rube, run! Run, Taffy, run!

Next time, watch Kody learn to accept a saddle pad at age six months!

  1. That’s a cool trick, I don’t think I’d ever heard about that one before!

  2. Thanks for the videos. Rubicon is huge.
Where I live alot of the farmers lie there horses down when thay start handling them about 2 years old. It makes them so much quieter. I highly recommend it.
