Is it okay if I submit a story to your contest that I’m also submitting to another contest? The other one is super small (with less than 30 people participating) and the prize for winning isn’t publication or anything.

Hey, it’s your story. Enter it wherever you want! Umm, the prize for this contest is not “publication” either, just putting it up on the winners’ page on the blog. Not quite the same as what I used to do with the Annual contest, where the winning stories ended up in a very nice paperback book on Amazon.

If you read the entire contest rules, you will see the sentence that says I ship to US addresses only. Sorry! It’s just too expensive to ship things to Canada.

From Ebay a long time ago. They sell real gold jewelry “shavings” in small plastic vials. It’s a real hit at homeschool conventions. There is so little gold that it actually floats. Gold can be hammered super thin so it looks like there is a lot of gold but there is not. Teensy amounts.
