Running in the Wind

Here’s a really nice video of Taffy, Kody, and especially Jewels running in the wind. I know it’s not really an Andi post, but hey, the name “Taffy” is included, and it’s the best I can come up with this week. When the writing contest ends, I will start posting the stories as “fan fiction,” unless you don’t want your story posted. You can always use the contact form to let me know you prefer your story not be posted. But for now . . . enjoy this 1.5 minute video from Painted Acres Ranch.

You can see that Kody (nearly 16hh by now!) is running in the round pen. That’s because he is in “time out” for not being nice to Taffy sometimes. She wants to rest because her feet hurt (notice the black boots to cushion her feet) but Kody nudges her and pokes her with his hooves when she’s on the ground, wanting to play. He is a big, lovable colt but Taffy needs to rest. And near the end, Daddy Rubicon runs a bit, but mostly . . . he wanted to roll. 😏

Come back tomorrow for a gender reveal the old-fashioned way. We know Jewels’s foal is a filly, but we don’t know what Maggie is having. However, since we know Jewels’s foal’s gender, we can put into practice what many say is an “old wive’s tale,” but honestly, it worked, and we videotaped it.
