Congratulations, Micaiah and Ashlyn. My daughter chose part of each of the names you entered:

Jewels Moonlight Treasure

Blue Eye/Brown Eye/Double Whorl

Moonlight Treasure has it all! One blue eye, one brown eye, and a double (side-by-side) whorl. Who knew? Although, I confess, I went back to Kody’s baby pictures and sure enough, he too has a double whorl, although his is not side-by-side. Treasure also has a black forelock! You can see the short forelock in the video. So stunning! Here is a closeup video of her eyes, whorls, and forelock. Enjoy! I’m trying my best to download the delivery video, but it’s not being very successful yet. I will try by the end of the week to offer updates.

Taffy and Treasure

This is Taffy as a newborn. Look at her coloring. Cocoa brown. Treasure has cocoa-brown patches. Do you know what this means? Taffy’s cocoa-brown turned into a stunning red-gold palomino. Treasure’s cocoa-brown will undoubtably will turn into . . . stunning red-gold patches too. This is because Jewels is a bay paint so the buckskin will reflect Jewels basecoat (seeing the brown patches).

This is what I mean. See how Taffy changed?

  8. Treasure and Taffy. It fits! It looks like taffyy had a whorl on her forehead too but I am assuming it was only a single whorl?
