Foal Fun Play Day & Baths

I hope you are not tiring of seeing Trissy and Knightley! Here are two videos. The first one is a fun foal “play” day out in the pasture. It’s only a minute long and you can see the babies play and having so much fun!

The second video is also one minute. Kristel gave Trissy her first full bath. It was originally 6 minutes, but I cut it down to focus on the fun stuff. What did Kristel discover under Trissy’s muddy splashes? The special, radiating rings around her paint spots (like mama Jewels), which means she is overo or tovero! Very, very special. See if you can spot them in the video. I told Kristel the markings remind me of how sunspots look through a telescope. Very solid in the middle, and then lightening up around the solid part. On close up, like Kristi, the camera-girl, said, “They look blue!”

This filly keeps getting more stunning by the day! And according to Kristel, “She is truly Taffy. She wants to be with us (mostly Kristi) every waking minute. And is happy to just “be” with her. Obeys, smart, and just a sweet filly. She’s Taffy in personality, if not in coloring.”

Guess what? The Circle C YouTube channel is at 495 subscribers! Five more and then . . . drum roll . . . a giveaway!

Also, I sent a full series proposal to my editor at Kregel yesterday. With so many positive comments and questions asking when the first Jenny book might come out, I decided, I’d better get the ball rolling and not wait until I finish writing the book (I’m on Chapter 4, by the way). My editor said the “cover is darling!” and she can’t wait to read the first three chapters I sent her. And . . . the proposal will go before the pub (publishing) board (team) in August. Then I may have NEWS FOR YOU. I might even announce it in a YouTube video, just so I can start using YouTube more effectively.

  5. Oh my goodness! All of this is truly cool! I thoroughly thoroughly recommend subscribing to the Circle C YouTube channel guys. I got to watch the videos a whole day early. Besides, I want to be a part of the giveaway. 😁 If you don’t have YouTube, have somebody who likes horses subscribe for you lol! Trissy and Knightley are so beautiful! If I could subscribe five more times, I would!!!

    1. One more thing, as a horse crazy person I wish you would blog everyday Mrs M! Subscribing to the YouTube channel makes this just slightly easier because you’re getting the updates quicker! Lol

    Be grateful I’m trying to go back to 3 times a week. I wasn’t blogging at all for awhile. Just overwhelmed with so much going on!
