How Pretty Are These?

One of our Andi fans, Ella P., has started her own business of hand-made (and very pretty) items. She asked if I’d give her a little shout out, and after looking over her site, I am delighted to do so! Here’s a quick introduction from Ella, and then I’ll step back out of the way and let you all take a quick peek at her site.

Which reminds me . . . we do have Andi’s Fans Blogs . . . which are your personal or business blogs, where you can share your lives and thoughts (and stories) with each other. If you want your blog posted on the Andi’s Fans Blogs page, simply request it in the comments, along with the URL to your site. The only rule? You need to keep your blog/posts current. I just went in and did my twice-a-year blog purge. A blog writer who has not posted in six months is removed. But not forever! If you are one of the blogs that was purged, simply ask to be put back up and . . . start blogging! ✒️

Okay . . . here is Ella and her sewing business . . . If you have questions for Emma, I’m sure she’d love to respond in the comments. Or you can contact her through her website. Enjoy!

I started sewing when I was about 9 years old, this is also when I got my first “real” sewing machine. That was seven years ago. One of my first projects was a patchwork pillow that was hand-sewn. After that year, I never really used the machine until August of 2024. That really got my love for sewing going. At first, I just sewed for fun with a friend, and then I had my first craft show also around the same time of that year.

Now come to the present, I am sixteen years old and have created my first online website! I just released the site the beginning of this October, and I am trying everything can do to grow my business, but ultimately, it’s all in God’s hands, and if I get one sale, He willed it. And if I get twenty sales, He willed it.

If anyone else has a home business (do you make and sell goat-milk soap? Brooklyn, an earlier Andi fan from years ago, does). Do you make handcrafts like macrame, quilts, or anything else? Contact me and let me know about it. I’d love to feature your business and share it with other industrious young ladies. Let’s support each other!
