Great job, my friends!
As I promised, everyone who guessed correctly for the July What Am I would receive the audiobook short story: “Race for the Finish Line.” It’s in honor of the Fourth of July. You might have read this story in the short story collection: Andrea Carter and Other Tales from the Circle C Ranch, but I sent the audiobook story to the winners via my newsletter email. Here’s the bad news: if you have unsubscribed from the newsletter in the past, then it automatically remembers this, so even if you won, you will not receive the newsletter email with the link to the audiobook.
If you anwered something like the list below and don’t see an email with the link, look in your “promotions” or “Spam” to find it. I uploaded 100 emails into the email server, but only 90 landed in the list. This means you more than likely gave me an inaccurate email address. There is nothing I can do about that. If you think you won, you may contact me with your email, and I will check it against the master Excel file that I uploaded. If indeed your email is on it and you guessed correctly, I will send you the audiobook.
I was very generous with what I accepted:
- spiral binding
- notebook binder
- notebook coils
- notebook rings
- notebook spine
The main thing is, you needed to include the “spine,” “rings,” etc. Those who only said “notebook” or “rings” or something generic didn’t guess correctly. The focus was on the actual spiral binding.

I guessed (3) ring binder. Does that count?
No. There are way more rings on this object than 3, and a 3-ring binder looks nothing like a spiral-bound notebook. Sorry!
Okay, thanks! No worries!! It was really fun.
Congratulations to all the winners!!
