✨Bible Verse of the Month
There were so many things happening last month (July) with the Name the Colt, the Flash Fiction and Look-a-like contest, and the Voting for the Jenny Grant covers that the Bible verse of the month completely slipped my mind.
But I did not forget this month, and I think we should start with the verse right off the bat. It’s warm and there are many dark nights to view the wonders of God’s creation. I challenge you to memorize the verse in the translation you like best.
I found a song to go with it, one of my favorites, actually. The words don’t quite match, but the song is so catchy that it really helps you learn the verse. I taught my Sparks (AWANA) this song, and we always sang it with gusto! Click the image above to hear the song, or here 👉 Ah, Lord God

It’s time for the August WHAT AM I? mystery object. I have not been able to stump you guys lately, but maybe this one will be a challenge. And check out this month’s prize for the winner. You may choose from

The mystery object for July was the spiral binding of a notebook. I was quite generous in accepting answers like: spiral binding, notebook spine, notebook coils, notebook binder, notebook rings, but not “notebook” by itself or “3-ring notebook” (there are more than 3 rings), or things like that.
I sent a separate email to all of the winners, with the link to the audio short story “Race to the Finish Line” as promised. One winner had “unsubscribed” from the newsletter, so although they guessed correctly, they never got the prize since there were 100 correct guesses and I could not send out 100 separate emails. If you guessed correctly but never received an email with the link (look in promotions or even spam), you are welcome to reply to this email with the email you used to submit your guess. I will check it on the master list, and If your email matches a correct guess, I will send you the audiobook link. 🎧

I just finished watching a Q&A that another author I follow did. Sadly, I was busy that night so I couldn’t attend it live, but he sent it to me from his newsletter from YouTube. 😁
