What Am I? + Story Winner
Yep, I’m just copying and pasting the newsletter right here. It’s sunny and my garden is calling my name, so I’m headed outdoors. But I wanted to post this month’s What Am I and also share who won the April Flash Fiction Story prompt (and received a $10 Amazon gift card). So . . .Continue reading “What Am I? + Story Winner”
A Chance to Win Rewards (Prizes)
Okay, this is a different kind of blog post. I’m giving a shout-out to my email newsletter. It has an opportunity for me to think of fun prizes that keep adding up (in other words, you can earn them ALL) and there is no limit to the number of people who can participate. The grandContinue reading “A Chance to Win Rewards (Prizes)”
What Am I & Story-writing Contest
Don’t get your hopes up TOO HIGH. This is not the Summer Writing Contest, but maybe you might like the “pre-pre” for practice? Once a month (or every other month), I’m going to offer a mini-story writing contest (1,000 words or less) in response to an image and a prompt (that goes with the image).Continue reading “What Am I & Story-writing Contest”

Which Daydream Pose?
I don’t want Jenny to look too “old,” but I like her dreamy expression in the first image. Which do you prefer? (Not that Kregel will use them anyway, but it’s fun to create just for fun!) Or . . . does she look young enough in #1 and I should keep the daydreaming expression,Continue reading “Which Daydream Pose?”
Another Cover to Vote On
Maybe you thought this was another Jenny Grant cover. Nope, I will not burden you with yet another idea. You guys pretty much told me what you liked and I am satisfied and happy with your results. We’ll see what Kregel says. In the meantime . . . my author friend, Phyllis Wheeler, asked meContinue reading “Another Cover to Vote On”
More Covers and Voting
Somebody really needs to tell me to GET BACK TO WRITING. I have finished chapter 12 of book 2 but it’s much more fun to create covers. LOL Okay, so I “get it.” Everybody (pretty much) like the Zoomed out version. My daughter said Jenny looked like she was “blind,” so I gave her aContinue reading “More Covers and Voting”
Cover Time!
Okay, this is really random. I should be working on book 2, but I got on a “cover thing” yesterday. Now, remember, Kregel will probably not use exactly what I send them, but I want to send them something SO FUN that they might say, “Hey, we can’t get better than this.” LOL With thatContinue reading “Cover Time!”
