Mitch Carter Character Quiz

We had a few mishaps, namely question #2 (about Mitch’s age at the time of him racing the Iron Horse. With that in mind, I allowed those who missed that question (and got everything else right) a chance to win. I try to be as fair as possible! However, if you missed #2 but also another one, that means you were not in the drawing. Or if you missed only one, but it was NOT #2 that you missed, you are also not in the drawing. Make sense?

At any rate, Daisy is the random winner out of six 100% entries. There were two dozen entries total. I know you want to know who the six entries were. Here you go.

  • Daisy
  • Emma A.
  • Esther B. (Essie), missed #2 only
  • Anna F., missed #2 only
  • Tori H.
  • Abby B.

    1. Summited my answers last night🙃🙃🙃

I actually met Mrs . M the other day at a homeschool conference. It was awsome. Still cannot believe it 😃😃

  1. Hey Mrs. M! Thanks for the character quiz! I’ve wanted to do Mitch for a while. I have one question though, I don’t have the two new books so is there another way to get the answers or is it best to just take a guess? ~Chantae

  2. I have the two new books but have only had time to read one so far. I just took a guess on the question from Stranger in the Glade by going off of what seemed the most like something Mitch would do.

    1. failed: “not achieving its end or not lasting; unsuccessful.”

(got it from the dictionary lol)

  3. Howdy! Question, in the characters on this blog it said for Mitch Carter “When Mitch was 16 (and I was 6), he got this crazy, horribly dangerous idea into his head. Sure, his horse Chase is fast (even faster than Taffy), but Mitch bragged that Chase is faster than even the Iron Horse. ”

But in the books where Andi was talking with Daniel she said “When Mitch was my age he got the idea to race the train,” I kept reading the book and found out that Andi was going on sixteen so I don’t get how old Mitch was, almost 16 0r 17? (In the book he would be almost 16… but in the characters tab, it’s different.)
    Thanks!

  4. If I have the original Memory Creek Ranch book 1 and 2 could I still answer questions 17 and18? Or are those new stories in the 2nd edition?

  5. Sorry! I couldn’t find it, so I thought to write to make sure I wasn’t looking for a story that isn’t even there.

      1. Thank you, I just didn’t remember reading a story about. I know about Andi telling Daniel but I didn’t see a whole story about it. Thanks Katie!

    1. I just looked at the character for Mitch and it does have a little more detail about the story with the iron horse☺️

  6. Yup (unless I got the question wrong…). Look for a time when Andi is getting home from school and has to do her chores.😀

      1. Shoot!!! I didn’t know that!! I thought that was cheating! But I now know!!:)

      2. I think I have made it clear in other quizzes that of course you can look up the answers. That is the whole point. To get you to read or reread the books. I will make sure this is clear from now on in every quiz.

  7. Summited my answers last night🙃🙃🙃

I actually met Mrs . M the other day at a homeschool conference. It was awsome. Still cannot believe it 😃😃

      1. @anonymous The homschool oceans conference in Hillsboro, OR.

  8. I totally agree with Ellie. I love books but I have never found a book that I love more than the Andrea Cater series. I feel as though I am in the books watching the story unfold. Mrs. M, if anyone asks you to do a movie about your books you should definitely do it!

    1. Lol. My publisher books ask the movie rights. I’m lucky to have the audio rights turned back to me or there works be no audio books. That’s as close as you’ll probably get to a movie

  9. @Emma A

You read my mind. When I am reading the books it is like I am watching a movie and I can imagine everything. I have never found any books I love more. And I love reading so much. I am homeschooled so when I get done early in the morning I read for hours ☺️☺️🙂🙂

    1. I am homeschooled as well and I have always head up to my room and grab a book!! We are sooo alike!! Lol!! Do you like do write as well?

      1. @Emma A
Well I entered into the writing contest Mrs. M has and I lost .
But I am going to try again this year!!! I do like writing.🙂🙂

  10. @Tori Huber

Yep I met her and I bought the 2 newest books. I can’t believe she was there😍😍😍😃

      1. Same! I had them preordered so that as soon as they came out I would get them!!! Lol!

      1. @Tori Huber

Now I am the one that is jealous LOL😂😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣

      2. @Ellie B.

        Hahahaha!
We have horses, chickens, a bunny, dogs, a bird, barn cats
        I am very thankful 🙂
        Do you have any pets?

      3. I wish so bad I had horses. But all we have are two dogs, two cows, and I have two bunnies 🐰🐰

      1. @Tori Huber
Well we had chickens and guinea fowl but somebody stole them or they got eaten .
But we have raised pigs and chickens and goats. But now all we have is 2 dogs one of them are mine and a kitty!!!

      2. Oh and we have had 3 bunny’s before. We had them for years but now they are gone😭😭😭

    1. @Tori Huber
Cool a bunny. I’ve always wanted one! We only have a goat, chickens, cows, cats, dogs, and ducks.
Well and I have 12 siblings! LOL:)

      1. @Patience W.

        You have 12 siblings legit?
        I have 9 and I thought that was a lot!!!!😂😂🤣🤣JKLOL
Plus we live in a tiny Mobil home with 2 dogs and a kitty. ☺️☺️

      1. @Ellie B.
Yep I do have 12 siblings!:) I live in Illinois on a farm. What about you?

  11. For some reason I thought that Mitch had been hit twice🤪 I think I probably got it mixed up with another book😜

    1. Too bad one of us didn’t win! I guess at least we lost at the same time. We’ll see about the writing contest!

      1. Yeah, the writing contest prizes are nicer. Although character quizzes are easier, id perfer a writing contest anytime😉. Ill still be looking for in the summer writing contest coming up soon!

  12. Congratulations Daisy!!!! And Mrs. M I personally think Jenny Grant should be the next Character Quiz. She is so funny and just like Andi! Lol! And also thanks Mrs. M for taking the time to do these each month! We all love you!

    1. @Emma A
I agree you should do Jenny Grant Mrs . M .
( I still cannot believe she married Cory)LOL

  13. I just got an idea for a character quiz for sometime! It would be so cool if there could be a character quiz for Andi and Riley together and have it like about there love story? Just thought it would be cool😊

    1. That is a fun idea, but where would we get the questions and answers, since their actual “love” story is sort of behind the scenes? The quizzes have to be something kids can look up to find answers. If you want to create a character quiz, I’m all for it!

  14. Congratulations, Daisy!!

I think we should do a Jack Goodwin character quize. We’ve never done one before, so I think we should give it a try!
