Book 8 Came to My Doorstep Early!

Circle C Adventures book 8, More Tales from the Circle C Ranch, showed up yesterday, about five weeks early (before the release date of April 22). This means that those who have committed to reviewing should also be receiving your copies of the book in the next week or two.

I went ahead and put up the book on the Circle C webstore (some of the only hard-copy products I have). Everything else nowadays is instant downloads (like study guides and lapbooks, etc.).

If you would like to be one of the first in the nation to purchase an early (autographed!) copy of More Tales (my personal favorite of the two new books), head on over to the Circle C store. I also have a limited number of books 1-6 remaining in my stock and thought it might be nice to combine them with the new books and offer a super-duper discount for Circle C Adventures Books 1-8.

In other news, I’m excited to share one of Andi’s blog’s loyal readers for years. Ellen S. is grown up now and in university, but as a teen she ghost-wrote many Andi’s Journal entries when I was overwhelmed, and she won first place in one of my Annual Circle C Story-writing contests. She stopped in at a bookstore in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and posed with the newest book, Other Tales. But take a look at these shelves! Circle C and Goldtown packing a couple of shelves. I’m over the moon fun to see these books “in the wild,” as Ellen called it. Thanks, Ellen S. for sharing!

I'm the author of the Circle C and Goldtown Adventures series. I blog as "Andi Carter," the main character in the Circle C series. She lives on a huge cattle ranch in 1880s California. These are her adventures.

  1. You’ve written a bunch of “extra” books about Andi during the Adventure stage in her life, but what about when she’s older, like in the milestones age in her life? Do you think you might write more books about that series? Like a collection of short stories, like these books…

  2. how come you left out the stories from the purple book set during the beginnings books? Like “britches aren’t for little girls” and “Aunt Rebeca and the hat”?

    1. Because those stories are when Andi is too young and it was hard to find an “audience” for that old purple book with too large of an age span. So I only used a few of the stories from the purple book, changed them to third person, expanded them, and limited the stories to within the Circle C Adventures series timeline.

    1. Willow? Do you mean Whillo? Yes, a few of my books (like the Circle C Christmas Collection) is not up there because of some strange idea about “holidays.” (Neither is Andi’s Circle C Christmas, Andi Under the Big Top, and Andi’s Fair Surprise. Go figure. They used to be up there (the little kids’ books, anyway). Anyway, no Books 7 and 8 will not be up there in the form of Book 7, Other Tales. And Book 8, More Tales. Instead, I pulled out the stories related to Christmas and New Year’s and combined books 7 and 8 into one book called “Other Tales from the Circle C Ranch,” in order not to cause anything in the audiobook to keep it from being on Whillo. It’s ten stories. Someday, they may put up the Circle C Christmas Collection and then you could hear the stories that I pulled from these two new books. As of this week, when I got my monthly royalty statement, the new audiobook was in the queue (for upload). So this special version (just for Whillo) should be available soon (or even right now). I let my subscription of Whillo go, so I can’t get into the app to see exactly what is there any longer. Hope that helps.
