Okay, so here’s the thing about radio interviews: they scare me half to death. At least, they used to. Case in point: Time travel 15 years in the past to November 2010. Back in the day, my publisher, Kregel Publications, had a publicist. This person’s job was to find ways to get the authors “outContinue reading “😱 Radio Interviews Are Scary! 😱”

Alphabet Game #9 – Melinda Carter
More Alphabet Characters > Melinda! I bet you would not have thought that — in a pinch — Melinda Jane Carter could trade her dancing slippers in for a split skirt and a lasso. She’s not very good with the lasso, but she was there for her little sister when Andi fell into the draw,Continue reading “Alphabet Game #9 – Melinda Carter”
What Am I Winner
Ashlynn Hunt is the winner. Her email bounced, so I was a little worried and thought I’d need to choose another winner, but she did contact me! There were 153 entries, of which 135 got the answer correct: a pineapple. Random.org chose #87 and that happened to be Ashlynn. Congratulations! She chose the new toteContinue reading “What Am I Winner”
Horse & Filly Updates
It’s time for a fun update about Jewels Moonlight Treasure (Trissy). She will be 3 months old on September 7, and a stubborn little thing she is! A Sneak Peek
I have been remiss in posting the past couple of weeks. Instead, I’ve been working feverishly on the new Jenny book, Trouble in Tacoma. And I am beginning to completely overhaul my (main) website. My publisher, Kregel, has not gotten back to me . . . yet . . . about whether they are pickingContinue reading “A Sneak Peek”
Foot Training with Trissy
Let’s start the week with Kristi keeping her filly in tip-top training shape. Even Taffy had to be held with a leadline while someone checked her feet and hooves. Not Trissy! She’s a little angel and stands perfectly still. I bet it will be easy as pie to teach her to ground tie someday. EnjoyContinue reading “Foot Training with Trissy”

Highlighting the Past: August
With over 600 blog posts (not to mention all of the separate pages that stand alone), Andi’s blog is a treasure trove for old and new fans alike. With the summer getting away from me, I’ve found myself slipping in my ability to post at least three times a week. Vacation Bible School, trying toContinue reading “Highlighting the Past: August”
