Trouble at the Line Shack

Just to let you all know, l have not forgotten about the author’s-peek version of Trouble at the Line Shack. I revised it, added to it (158 pp.), and just sent off for the proof copy (not that it means there won’t be mistakes. I do miss things once in a while). However, this is to let you know that I really and truly intend to have this fun “original” rendition of the published Andrea Carter and the Trouble with Treasure available by early or middle of June. It takes awhile for Lulu to ship but I’ll have them available for fun summer reading.

Writing News

Any of you who took my Zoom writing class knows exactly what I did this morning with formatting, uploading, and creating the cover flat. It was fast and easy. I’m thinking about putting all of my Zoom video lessons (20-30 minutes each) up for interested young writers to glean from. But it’s a lot of work to record them (I did not record them originally last fall). I’m going back and forth about this. I have recorded lessons 1 and 2. Not sure if I should continue. What do you think? They would be free to watch, but you would need the Writer’s Roundup book to work the lessons after watching the video. And there would be no feedback from me (unless you wanted to pay a fee for that service).

Anyway, I’m just throwing this out randomly before I lose interest in continuing my little recording spree.

I’ll let you know when Lineshack is here!

  3. Trouble at the Line Shack is so exciting. It will be good to see expanded copy..

  4. Can’t wait to read it!!
I would personal love it if you recorded them, I live in Australia so time wouldn’t work for me to attend them live, but this sounds great.

  5. Mrs. M, so all you would need is the Writers Roundup book?
And is there any timeline on how long it will be before they are up? 😊

    1. That’s because the quiz always closes at 6pm the last day. I need time to draw the winner, redo the post, and get it scheduled before the next day. 😉

  6. Are all your books 5.5 by 8.5 size? I saw this size on the picture of the Line shack.
