So, here you go. Someone asked for the back cover copy (BCC) for this upcoming Fan Fun Extras book, Andrea Carter and the Terrible Secret. If the back cover is too small to read on your mobile device, scroll down. I have copied it below the covers.
And for all of you who voted for cover #1 or #2 because you liked that Andi, I put her on the back cover. Hopefully, everyone is happy with the cover. I am. The deciding factor for me (since the voting was so close between #2 and #3) was the dark circles under Andi’s eyes. #1 and #2 showed them way more than #3, so since we were pretty much tied, I went with #3.
For those who think her face is a possibly a bit out of focus on #3, take a look at #2, which is now on this back cover. Yes, low res photos uploaded to a blog are downgraded (so I don’t use up all of my GB storage.)
Andi Carter has a secret . . . But she can’t tell a soul.
During an innocent afterschool game of hide and seek, Andi stumbles onto a dangerous plot to keep a rich, important man from being found guilty at his upcoming, high-profile trial. Part of the plan involves killing the district attorney who will be prosecuting Mr. Henderson. And who is the best person to take care of this? The town drunk, Zeb Blazer, who has a longstanding grudge against the lawyer. But he has no idea he will shortly be accused of murder.
The only weak link in this foul-proof plan of deception is thirteen-year-old Andi Carter. Wrong time. Wrong place. As usual. But this time she’s caught. Now, she carries a terrible secret–the truth of what really happened. But who cares about the truth when they have threatened her beloved oldest brother? How long can Andi keep up the masquerade that everything is fine?
When the “mask” is finally ripped away, the secret comes out and the Carter family must pay the price.
