Tonight or Early Tomorrow Morning

Jewels’ milk hit the threshold: 6.2 pH. So there is no turning back! It will be tonight or tomorrow morning. Sadly, I will be leaving for a 5.5 hour drive over the mountains (Cascades) for our grandson Levi’s graduation. So even if she foals, I may not learn about it to pass the good news on to you (and videos, I hope). Cell signal in central-eastern WA is not good. And the mountains? Well, forget it. But I thought you might enjoy these pictures of Jewels. She has been bathed and all dolled up for her impending foaling. Enjoy!

This is it! 6.2 is the magic reading on the pH strip!

Isn’t she pretty!
Her rump looks like the foal is going to fall out any second!
